Approach to Casa Ceri

The good 6km tarmac road from the bustling market town of Camaiore, up to Casoli, is a panoramic delight, loved by walkers and cyclists; to the west the view gradually expands and zooms out to the sea on the Versilia coast, while rising sharply upwards, the sheer white rock face slashed with jet lines, provides a spectacular back-drop to the expanse of olive grove hills.

Arriving in the main piazza embraced by spectacular mountains, it is difficult to believe that Casoli is no higher than 400 metres above sea level, and that with just a turn of the head the sea is clearly visible 15km away. The entire village is car-free. Free parking is in the main piazza and along the road.

Casa Ceri is just 50 metres down a good tarmac footpath from the main piazza.
